The Toronto Fringe Festival is going digital this year and EDGE OF THE SKY is launching a documentary that you won't want to miss. BACK TO SUMMERLAND revisits the cast and team of the 2015 Fringe musical SUMMERLAND, featuring a series of interviews, new recordings, and never-before-seen footage from the original production.
Directed by Merik Williams, BACK TO SUMMERLAND is a story of friendship, community, and shared humanity. It’s also a look at how the world can change in five years, and how young people in the theatre community are impacted in the year 2020.
It has been a joy to revisit this show as Anika, Barb and I enter the writing/ revision process for our third draft. I can’t wait for us to all go BACK TO SUMMERLAND!
